My little Lauren is getting bigger each and every day. She had her 2 month check up on Monday and weighed in at 9lbs and 14 oz - 22 inches long!!! And this Monday she'll already be 10 wks old - time flies. Her personality is fun to watch as well. She is starting to recognize faces - especially Momma/Daddy/Taylor - and her face lights up when she sees us. Taylor even got her to laugh and it was soooo cute - we have started her bedtime routine and it's going ok - we've been told by the doctor to not put her to bed with the passy - and guess what? She has taken after Taylor with finger sucking. I have to admit it's soooo cute at this age - but it's sooooo hard to take fingers away - I guess whatever works!!!
Getting ready to go to Chattanooga Christmas lighting - bundled up!! My grandmother made her this hat and I just love it on her!!! - Smiles for momma -
Found her fingers during nap time -
And bedtime -
More smile - LOVE IT!!!
This was the first day we went out in the hat - didn't mind it at all -
So today was sports day at Taylors school. Can I just tell you what a process it is trying to find a "sports" shirt!!! Especially for someone like me who has NO clue when it comes to sports. Let alone know the difference between college/pro - I learned her favorite team is the Jacksonville Jaguares. Who may I ask are these people or should I say team??? - Of course we can't find anything like that - so she decides the TN Titans would do and finds a Jersey - FOR $115.00 - oh sure - we'll take that. (and wanted a hat to match) - Let me just say that after 2 hours and about 6 stores later she decided on the FL Gators - which are great colors for her - and looked cute on her - she had fun today dressing in something different. One kid had a football helmet on!! Creative -
Posing before leaving for school....FL Gators #1 (well, maybe not - I don't know!!)
So now that I've started this blog I feel like I need to catch up on our latest addition. Miss Lauren Elisabeth...These are some of her recent pictures. When I get a chance I'll get her newborn ones....It's hard to believe she is already 2 months. She is growing like a weed and has a personality of her own. One funny thing is she hates a dirty diaper. I mean hates!!! She will scream like she is in pain. Her Uncle Jon says she'll never make it in daycare!!!! And she loves to be held. Not sure whose fault that is....Hopefully now that my sister has so kindly showed me how to use this blog I'll keep you guys posted on her growth....
Her bed which she just graduated to last night...
Loves her passy....(still finds her fingers like her Sissy...)
Love the butt....oops....she peed on me!!!
Sleeps so peacefully....during the DAY!!!
My mom got me this wrap and I love it....So does Lauren...she snuggles up like a bug.
Sleeping so peacefully in it while I cook/do laundry. A life savor!!!
One of her first smiles caught on camera - LOVE IT!!!
In Sabbath School with Auntie Kera
Not happy about the hat....her first lesson in fashion....it doesn't always feel good even though it looks good!!
Precious little feet....
Sweet Lauren...
Big Yawn.....rough life
Proud Big Sister Taylor before leaving for school...
My daughter Taylor is definitely a sports fan. One of her favorites is Basketball. She plays with the 2nd and 3d graders after school. It's fun to watch because at this age it's not about TEAM playing. It's about keeping the ball to themselves and shooting the ball regardless of where they are!! She's a great player - and I don't say that just because she is my daughter. I hear other moms on the side lines asking "who is that girl ?" And she's the only girl on her team...I'm a proud mom!
